چکیده
Abstract: Increased crop density and use of herbicides are two important components of integrated weed management program in wheat but no much information is available on combined effects of these two treatments. A field experiment was conducted to determine the interaction effect of increasing seed rates and weed management treatments on monocot and dicot weeds, grain and straw yield and uptake of N, P and K by weeds in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). Eighteen treatment combinations comprising three seed

Evaluation of efficiency of some soil-applied herbicides for weed control in chickpea (Cicer aretinum L.) and their residual effect on growth and grain yield of bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) in crop rotation under rainfed conditions
This study was conducted to evaluate the performance of different herbicides options for weed control in chickpea and their residual effect on bread wheat performance in crop rotation under rainfed conditions. The experimental design was randomized complete block with four replications conducted in Mahidasht Agricultural Research Center located in Kermanshah province, Iran during 2018-2019 and ...

BACKGROUND: Fertilizer management plays an important role to achieve sustainable agriculture. OBJECTIVES: Current study was conducted to assess response of agrophysiological traits of wheat to apply different level of fertilizer and biologic fertilizer (Phosphorus and Nitrogen). METHODS: This research was carried out via factorial e...
متن کاملCropping systems alter weed seed banks in Pacific Northwest semi-arid wheat region
Arable land weed seed banks are dynamic and reflect cropping history, current management, and environment. Changes in crop rotation and tillage system can alter weed seed density and species composition. In the semi-arid region of the Pacific Northwest, USA, no-till spring cropping is being studied as an alternative to the traditional winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)/dust-mulch fallow (WWF) ...
متن کاملResidue Management Tactics for Corn Following Spring Wheat
Producers are interested in tactics for managing crop residues when growing corn after spring wheat. We compared five systems of managing spring wheat residues: conventional tillage, no-till, strip-till, cover crop (hairy vetch) with no-till, and cover crop with strip-till following spring wheat. Conventional tillage consisted of chisel plowing and disking, whereas strip-till consisted of tilli...

In order to investigate the effect of zinc - chelate on drought tolerance of Azadi cross wheat, a randomized complete block design was conducted as split plot with three replicates in the Kherameh during 1383 - 1384. The main plot was four drought levels (control and drought stress in the stages of flowering, seed milk stage and two phases, together), and sub plot was zinc - chelate rates 0, 5,...
